Job Title: Automation EngineerLocation: Pisa
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE- Manage and maintain plant computerized systems, including SCADA, PLC-based equipment, SQL databases, and digital archives based on Historian/OSI PI.
- Execute system configurations and provide diagnostic support for troubleshooting.
- Support equipment qualification and validation processes, including Computer System Validation (CSV).
- Lead automation and electrical engineering projects, ensuring the highest standard solutions are implemented and promoting continuous improvement.
- Provide engineering support to maintenance activities to achieve production capacity and fulfillment targets.
- Lead the configuration and management of computerized systems for diagnostics and performance optimization.
- Manage automation and electrical engineering projects from feasibility through execution, qualification, and handover.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical infrastructure and automation systems, providing technical evaluations and overseeing execution activities.
- Support the Maintenance team in problem-solving as the SME for automation and computerized systems.
- Degree in Engineering (Automation, Telecommunication, AI, Vision Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in programming languages and automation systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
