Job Description:

  • Create and manage a formal project plan including Project Timeline; Communication Plan; Work Plan Task List; Resource Allocation Schedule; Project Change Management Plan and Risk Management Plan
  • Regular communication of project progress including scope schedule and cost
  • Documentation and approval of any changes to scope; timeline or cost via the project change management process
  • Owns and drives accountability around project schedules budgets bookings and overages.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Drive achievement of assigned team goals including but not limited to booked vs actual project change order revenue and project KPI result targets.
  • Manage team utilization and project assignment to balance and maximize utilization of team.
  • Prepare and conduct project lessons learnt sessions on key projects to capture improvement opportunities and collaborate with appropriate teams in the organization to recommend and facilitate the execution of such improvements.
  • Ensures team is following standards for process and procedures for related systems and reporting and following the Project Implementation Methodology.
  • Leads/oversees contract management and adherence for active projects and project change management.
  • Works collaboratively with accounting sales operations contract compliance procurement IT and delivery operations to improve estimating contract intake resourcing invoicing and other integrated processes and systems.
  • Leads/oversees project monthend processes and procedures and collaboration with accounting to facilitate a timely monthend closure and reporting.
  • Competencies
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
