- Build and ship high-quality features for native Android applications
- Develop the primary mobile interaction point for members to control and configure Eight Sleep products
- Help users gain insights from their sleep and recovery experience
- Collaborate closely with backend, firmware, and ML engineers
- Work with R&D, Growth, and Hardware departments
- Collaborate with executives including the CEO, CPO, and VPs
- Conduct code reviews
- Ensure code quality
- Optimize app performance and improve the member experience
- Build pixel-perfect mobile apps with beautiful animations
- 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps
- Fluent proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI
- Experience building scalable, testable enterprise-grade apps
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability
- Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose
- Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field
- Experience working with health-related apps and peripherals
- Ability to work onsite at the Milan office 5 days a week
- Ability to work from Milan, Italy; visa sponsorship requirements may apply
