Role Description:This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Mainframe Software Engineer located in Rome/Milan. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe software products, collaborating with a team of engineers, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mainframe systems. This role will mean becoming part of a global multi-disciplined mainframe development team (develop, test, document) and will involve learning about our mainframe products.QualificationsComputer Science and Software Development skillsDeep familiarity with mainframe, its various sub-systems, features etc (VTAM, TSO, z/OS, ISPF, CICS, Batch, DB2, IMS, VSAM, PDS, QSAM, PDSE/2, CATALOGS, SDSF, exits, SCLM, LCS, DUMPS, Abend analysis, utilities etc).Mainframe software development experience using: JCL, REXX, C, HLASM, PL/I.Advantageous skills:Systems programmerzVM, zOSMF, PL/X, SLD, Debug Tool.Knowledge of products like IBM File Manager for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer for z/OS, ADFz, IDz, z/OS Explorer, z/OS Open Editor or similar products.Jira, git, Jenkins, XML, JSON, VSCode, DB2/SQL, IMS/DB1, MQ, zD&T, ADCD, Zowe, Open Mainframe.Fluency in English (must be B2 or C1)**Kindly attach resume in English language**Candidate Data Privacy Noticehttps://www.hcltech.com/candidate-privacy-notice
