We are seeking a Structural / Mechanical FEA Engineer to join our client’s growing team within the space industry. You will play a key role in the structural analysis, design verification. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analyses of radar payloads and subsystems using FEM tools, including:Static and quasi-static loadsDynamic, vibration and shockBuckling and fatigue as applicableDefine, execute, and interpret FEM models to support design decisions and qualification activitiesStructural sizing and verification against launch and operational loadsCollaborate closely with mechanical and thermal design engineers to ensure a robust CAD ↔ FEM loopSupport environmental qualification campaigns (vibration, shock, thermal), including pre-test analysis and post-test correlationPrepare structural analysis reports and qualification documentationRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element methodsProven experience with FEM tools (e.g., Femap/Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, or equivalent)Ability to build, validate, and correlate FEM models with test resultsKnowledge of metallic structures; basic understanding of compositesFamiliarity with product development lifecycle (concept → qualification → delivery)Understanding of environmental loads and space qualification principles (ECSS or equivalent)Good written and spoken EnglishApply today for more information
