Merchandising RTW Men Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Merchandising RTW Men Manager to join our team in Milan. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and performance of men's RTW collections within the luxury fashion segment.
Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager Men, the candidate will act as a key link between the creative, production, and commercial teams, ensuring the product offering aligns with market demands, brand positioning, and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the product strategy for men's RTW collections, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and market trends.
- Develop seasonal product briefs based on customer insights, sales data, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with design teams to balance creative and commercial goals in product development.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities and refine product strategies.
- Monitor KPIs, such as sell-through rates, gross margins, and stock levels, providing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to market launch, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Work with supply chain teams to monitor production timelines and stock allocation.
- Oversee pricing and margin strategies to maintain competitiveness in the luxury market.
- Partner with retail, wholesale, and e-commerce teams to tailor assortments for each channel.
- Support marketing teams by providing product insights and storytelling elements for campaigns.
- Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to ensure in-store presentation aligns with brand standards.
- Lead the forecasting process for men's RTW collections, setting realistic sales targets and inventory plans.
- Manage the merchandising budget to achieve business objectives effectively.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in merchandising within the luxury fashion sector, specifically focused on RTW.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and merchandising tools.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of the luxury men's RTW market, including customer behavior, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages, such as French, are highly desirable.
