You will have practical experience of workflows involving blood products such as plasma and serum. This will include but not be limited to, preparing samples, running automated library preparation, sequencing and Data QC.Illumina Protein Prep workflow specialist - Wet lab SME for Illumina multiomics workflows for the European service organisation, will work closely with Europe marketing and strategic growth teams on sales enablement activities that require hands-on demonstration or workflow design and evaluation.Responsible for communicating proteomics WDE project outcomes and progress. Able to clearly demonstrate lab processes and where needed develop new processes and clearly communicate these in the form of written procedures and live trainings.Responsible for multiple items of laboratory equipment involved in proteomics workflows including advising on usage and maintenance to other lab users. Participates in equipment management processes for calibration, servicing and associated record keeping. Owns usage and maintenance of automation used for protein preparation workflows in the Milan ISC.Owns WDE service and demonstrations for proteomics workflows in the Milan ISC. In conjunction with the ISC Lab manager, participates in or may be responsible for additional multiomics sales enablement activities in the Milan Solution Center lab including lab tours, instrument demonstrations, WDE services and customer throughput assistance work.As well as running WDE studies and other sales enablement activities you will be expected to participate in the day-to-day aspects of using and maintaining the ISC lab space alongside the ISC Lab manager which includes: Safety specialist for plasma-based workflows (plasma receipt and handling, waste stream management, chemical labeling, and risk assessments). Maintenance of customer sample and data handling ensuring compliance with processes, documentation and trainings. Ensuring stock levels for proteomics workflows and assigned sales enablement activities.
