In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive cost calculations for the Construction & Commissioning (C&C) scope within tender projects, following HVDC and C&C processes for site management, civil works, installation, and commissioning. You will work closely with internal tendering teams and, when needed, external subcontractors to provide reliable, transparent inputs. The final tender will be submitted on time to the HVDC Bids & Proposals / Sales Department.

How you’ll make an impact:


Follow C&C internal processes while adapting to project specifics.


Represent C&C in all tender meetings; ensure all tender information is complete and accurate.


Collaborate with Engineering, Supply chain, Finance, HR, Operation and Sales teams to clarify technical and commercial issues.


Review Engineering drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), man-hour estimates, and subcontracting strategies, including RFQs and bid analysis.


Analyse specifications, assess risks, and communicate cost impacts to management.


Finalise cost calculations, conduct tender reviews, consider previously Lessons Learnt and implement approved changes.


Prepare and submit all required documentation; support handover to project execution.


Contribute to continuous improvement, and comply with HSE and quality policies; occasional travel required.


Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.


Your background:


Bachelor or master-degree in technical discipline


Postgraduate study/courses in economics and commercial management would be of advantage


About 5 Years of experience working in HVDC and/or similar Business


Substantial experience and knowledge of multidiscipline scopes of work


Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and risk management


Strong business awareness with a strategic, global mindset


Collaborative team player, creative and goal-oriented


Excellent English communication: additional language (Italian, German, French, or Spanish) is a plus

Theminimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:


Italy: starting from52,700 gross annual salary


The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
