You’ll design and implement smart testing strategies, optimize processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement. By mentoring junior engineers and acting as a sparring partner for customers, you’ll help raise the bar for quality and innovation.Your responsibilities as a Test Architect:Overseeing the entire testing architecture/ strategies, process, from planning to execution. This role involves developing automated test capabilities, selecting tools, and defining processes for efficient and effective testing;Write software (C++, C, Python) for objective, reproducible and maintainable automated tests and development of tools for qualification and integration;Explore different solution approaches to achieve the best result;Design, implement and optimize chosen solutions;Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary, and Agile environment;Review code and mentor (junior) engineers;Share your expertise to elevate the team, quality, and processes;Advisor and sparring partner for customers and stakeholders and inspiring others to strive for quality.What do we offer you?This will make you smarter:challenging and interesting projects in different domains;benefit from the expertise of your technical buddy and more than 100 smart colleagues;focus on guiding and coaching on personal development to achieve your ambitions;annual study budget and customized training program within our TOPIC Academy;tech events and knowledge sessions.This will make you better:contract for indefinite period of time;an all-in employee benefit package (€61.000 – €85.000 annually): incl. competitive gross salary, net cost allowance, mobility package, 13th month payment, holiday allowance;good secondary employment conditions: i.a. 26 vacation days (opportunity to buy extra days), pension scheme and relocation budget.This will keep you healthy:a good work-life balance, flexible working hours and hybrid way of working;an inspiring office environment with daily fresh fruit and a gym;the home office support package will turn your “home office” into an inspiring environment;lots of fun during events like celebrations, sport activities and the weekly Friday afternoon drinks.What do you bring as a Test Architect?A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar;At least 7 years of experience in software development with Python and C/C++ in the high-tech domain;You are capable of defining and overseeing the complete test architecture and strategy, ensuring consistency and quality from planning to execution;A background in software development/ automation and experience with Object-Oriented programming and develop test frameworks for complex embedded systems;Preferably experience with end-to-end test automation, continuous integration and setting up and maintaining ROBOT test framework;You have proven experience with various testing techniques, solid knowledge of higher-level testing (system integration, component testing), and are familiar with methods such as BDD, keyword-driven testing, data-driven testing, model-based testing, and property-based testing;You are a team player, solution-oriented, and proactive;Motivation to continuously improve yourself and develop new skills;A good command of English, and preferably Dutch language.Our organizationSince 1996 we have been developing (embedded) systems that are essential for products manufactured by renowned high-tech companies around the world.
