The Opportunity We’re expanding our Milan team and looking for an experienced Ocean Import/Export Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. This role is ideal for a logistics professional who takes ownership, communicates with precision, and ensures every shipment moves flawlessly from origin to destination. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Coordinate ocean freight shipments with suppliers, customers, carriers, and trucking partners. Prepare, review, and validate all required import/export documentation. Manage rate negotiations, quotations, and bookings to meet customer expectations and internal performance goals. Track and monitor shipments, resolving issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer service. Partner with internal teams and global service centers to ensure efficient, seamless operations. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 3 years in ocean, air, or international logistics operations. Mindset: Detail-driven, proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CargoWise is a strong plus.
