General Summary
This role reports to the Head of Mechanical and Systems Engineer or their designee and is based in Maranello, Italy. The role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives. Responsible for supporting day‑to‑day operations within their area of responsibility, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance. Adherence to organisational policies and procedures, effective communication with line management, and a commitment to continuous improvement and inclusive ways of working is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Role specific responsibilities
- Design of F1 chassis related components and mechanical assemblies.
- Activity consists in the study and design of components through solid modeling, surface modeling and 2D drawing with the aim of obtaining high-performance, reliable solutions and optimized sizing.
- The perimeter of the involved components is including suspensions, wheels, hydraulic, fuel and cooling systems, with also the equipment for the car homologation and its management on trackside (for instance legality checks, pit stop equipment, etc).

- Carry out day‑to‑day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Ensure work meets expected service, quality, and compliance standards.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Further education including Mechanical Engineering Degree desired.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience, 1 of which must be in a professional motorsports’ environment (F1 is preferred one).
- Education and work experience in mechanical design is the key, composite engineering education is also a very good add on.
