Data Modeler

Job Title: Data Modeler (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conceptual logical and physical data models to meet the needs of complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with data architects business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into data model designs.
• Optimize and refine existing data models to improve efficiency scalability and performance.
• Ensure data models align with industry best practices data governance standards and company policies.
• Maintain and manage metadata repositories to ensure accurate and uptodate information on data definitions mappings and lineage.
• Work closely with database administrators to implement and maintain data models within the database management systems (DBMS).
• Conduct data model reviews and validation sessions with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models including diagrams data dictionaries and data flow descriptions.
• Monitor and address data integrity and consistency issues ensuring data quality across all systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Data Modeler with a strong portfolio of successful data modeling projects.
• Experience in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio ERwin or similar software.
• Strong understanding of database design principles data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of data governance data management and data quality best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Experience in cloudbased data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
