Mission

RINA Consulting – Centro Sviluppo Materiali is searching for a new resource to be introduced as Lab Engineer for the “Material Characterization Discipline”, with particularly focusing on the Mechanical and Hydrogen Testing laboratory. The Laboratory performs mechanical tests on specimens or medium-scale components or parts of components in their real dimensions, verifying their performance and operating limits, in real conditions of use, or forcing them to destruction to discover their mechanical limits or to characterize the materials (metals, polymers, composites, fibers, fabrics). The Laboratory works in the field of steel, oil & gas, power generation, aerospace & defense, automotive, additive manufacturing, construction and many other sectors. In recent years, the focus on hydrogen has become strong and, as part of the Hydra Project, which RINA designed with a view to energy transition and decarbonization of the steel production process, mechanical testing in hydrogen has become an object of the laboratory's activities.
