Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, draft, and oversee commercial contracts for Sungrow’s projects in Italy and other EMEA regions.
  • Support contract activities for the PV and ESS Business Units, including framework agreements and sales contracts.
  • Review, draft, and qualify various contractual documents such as General Terms & Conditions and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Identify contractual risks and deviations from Sungrow’s principles, securing necessary approvals for major issues.
  • Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with both new and existing clients.
  • Create comprehensive contract and risk summaries to inform project personnel of obligations and objectives.
  • Negotiate to resolve contractual and financial disputes on active projects, advising commercial managers.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, processes, and procedures within Sungrow’s Business Management System.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law or a relevant Business-related qualification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the PV, Energy Storage, or Construction industry.
  • Strong commercial focus with a sound knowledge of contract law and proven drafting ability.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships and explain legal concepts to a non-legal audience.
  • Pro-active approach to problem-solving, capable of constructive challenge and negotiation with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, accustomed to report writing and presenting. xysqume
  • Italian and English C1; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
