BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The role will be covered in our headquarters in Milan;
The person will gain practical experience in the indirect purchasing sector and learn the dynamics of management and optimization of supplies in a structured and dynamic business environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF:

  1. Support in managing the procurement process;
  2. Interaction with suppliers to collect quotes and product information;
  3. Monitoring of deadlines;
  4. Support in the implementation of the Group portal for indirect purchases (SAP ARIBA);
  5. Support and collaboration with vendor manager to manage supplier system qualification;
  6. Updating and managing the supplier database and implementing the internal management system;
  7. Support and collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment of company needs;
  8. Support in the analysis of costs and purchasing conditions, with the aim of optimizing processes and reducing costs;
  9. Participation in the management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with the agreed clauses.

For this role, we’re looking for someone with:
  1. Degree or studies in Economics, Management Engineering, or similar disciplines (students or recent graduates).
  2. Interest in the purchasing sector, supplier management and negotiations.
  3. Basic knowledge of the main Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel.
  4. Good knowledge of the English language.
  5. Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.
  6. Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
