Civil Engineer- Life Sciences

Wood is recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join our Life Sciences division based in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.

As Civil Engineer, you will works in a project team and your scope of work is related to design of industrial pharmaceutical buildings covering layout arrangements for architectural and process purposes, design of concrete and steel structures, pipe racks, pharmaceutical and civil finishing, coordination of internal/external resourcing as well as selection of Contractors and follow up on site of civil and finishing works.
You will have regular interaction with the clients to keep them informed of the progress of the project, ensuring that it is on track, and to overcome any challenges that might occur.

MSc / BSc degree in Civil engineeringPrevious experience in a Civil engineering role of 2 yearsExperience in pharmaceutical sector is appreciatedKnowledge of REVIT software and BIM methodologyKnowledge of TECLA software is considered a plusCompetencies in sustainability designAbility to work across multi-disciplinary teamsDemonstrated understanding of risk-based design methodologies, safe plant layout practices, quality management systems and engineering change control processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
