Employee Relations Manager (12 month FTC)Job ID: 3130434 | Amazon Fulfillment Poland sp. z o.o. We are looking to hire a talented and committed Employee Relations Manager to play a critical role in the development of the employee relations agenda in Poland. The role can be located at any one of our sites in Poland for the right candidate. We are seeking a progressive, hands‑on, customer‑obsessed individual who will help develop a positive employee relations climate that supports employee safety, capability, engagement and a high‑performance customer‑obsessed culture. The ER Manager will report to the Senior Employee Relations Manager and will require geographical flexibility within Poland. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels Develop an understanding of employee engagement and support the delivery of initiatives designed to achieve engagement targets, aligned to Amazon’s ER philosophy Reactively and proactively support and advise managers and HR teams on employee‑relations issues Ensure compliance with Poland and EU legislation in partnership with our Legal Department Define, develop and enhance collective consultation and communication arrangements for the evolving business, in compliance with Poland labor laws and Amazon ER policies Provide training on ER matters for managers and HR teams Conduct reviews of employment policies to ensure alignment with Amazon’s objectives and compliance with employment law Participate in national and international projects Compensation and BenefitsThe minimum base pay for this position is PLN 8,983.33 gross monthly. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include additional pay components such as a sign‑on payment and eligibility to participate in a restricted‑stock‑unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. Company‑discretionary supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms and include pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, a MultiSport card, employee discount codes and programs, commuter benefits where applicable, and an Employee Assistance Program (private, confidential counseling and referral services to support health and well‑being). Basic QualificationsFluent in both written and spoken English and Polish (CEFR C2) Proven track record of accomplishments in a fast paced similar environment to Amazon Operations, i.e., Logistics Extensive experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work Extensive experience in setting up effective provisions for collective communication and consultation in a recently unionized environment Experience in the analysis, design and implementation of people programs, policies and practices to develop and sustain positive employee relations and engagement Preferred QualificationsRelevant post graduate education in human resources, employee relations Strong negotiation and influencing skills Demonstrate problem solving and analytical capability Extensive knowledge of employment law Demonstrate ability to motivate others and influence work behaviors Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make best use of limited resources Experience with complex problem solving and analysis using analytical methods Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi‑location environment Proven presentation and communication skills Good understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) would be advantageous Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
