The team works on cutting-edge semiconductor designs, contributing to both internal innovation and industry standards, aiming to power the next generation of high-speed data and communication systems, including 6G, optical transceivers, and phased-array architectures. Job SummaryThe client is seeking a skilled Analog RFIC Design Engineer to join their international R&D team in Milan. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing analog and RF integrated circuits for optical and high-frequency communication systems. Key Responsibilities-Design and optimize high-performance analog and RFIC blocks (e.G., TIAs, drivers, amplifiers).-Analyze system requirements and define circuit-level specifications in collaboration with system engineers.-Conduct schematic design, simulation, and layout support through to physical implementation.-Evaluate trade-offs between performance, area, and power for different circuit solutions.-Support lab validation and silicon debugging of prototypes.-Share design practices and technical insights with the global team. Required Qualifications-Master’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or related;PhD preferred.-5+ years of hands-on experience in analog/RFIC circuit design, preferably in optical or mmWave systems.-Proven expertise with Cadence tools and modern CMOS/SiGe BiCMOS technologies.-Solid knowledge of high-frequency analog design techniques (low-noise, high-speed, lowpower).-Tape-out and production experience in complex IC projects.-Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural, multi-disciplinary teams.-Fluent in English;willing to travel internationally as needed.
