Main tasks and responsibilitiesTakes care of the feasibility analysis and development of new products starting from the specifications received from R&D DepartmentDirectly carries out the calculation and the design of injection moulds (and extrusion dies) according to the defined specifications and the features of the machines, in order to achieve the best possible efficiency process levelFollows the mould production process in collaboration with the mold making managerTakes care of safety aspects in order to guarantee the respect of the safety directivesSupports Production in case of problems or defects of the productPrepares spare parts for existing moulds based on maintenances programsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.RequirementsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Knowledge of Cad 3D parametric software (plus CREO)Knowledge in plastic molding and quality controlStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.Education and experienceDegree or High School Diploma in Technical Disciplines At least 5 years of experience in the field of mechanical design
