At Tropico Security, we're building the most effective early warning system in modern cybersecurity via next-gen deception techniques. We have a great story to tell, and we're looking for someone who can tell it.
Required SkillsMust have- A background in communications or journalism (or a comparable field): you can find the story, interview the people who hold it, and write it up clearly and fast
- Video production end-to-end: shooting, editing, AI generation, sound, captions, and cutting the same footage for different formats
- Social media management: planning a content calendar, writing native copy for LinkedIn and X, community engagement, and reading analytics to decide what to do next
- A portfolio: articles, videos, or accounts you've grown that you can show us
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Podcast or interview production experience
- B2B marketing experience: case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, event coverage
- SEO, website content management, and marketing automation tools
- Experience covering trade shows and conferences on the ground
- Motion graphics and basic design, e.g. Canva
You will work directly with the founders and own how the world sees Tropico. You'll interview our engineers, film our research, cover the events, and build our online presence.
CompensationSalary EUR 30-45k based on experience.
Flexible hours, company MacBook Pro and iPhone, international team offsites.
Commitment & contractFull-time, HQ in the center of Milan (Italy). Expect to travel often for events and filming.
The selection processEvery candidate goes through the same process. If you pass our initial screening, you'll be asked to complete a short creative exercise: a written piece and a short video based on material we'll provide. xysqume A remote interview with the founders follows, and the next stage is an on-site interview in Milan.
