Linum Consult’s client is an international main contractor, specialising in the construction of large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Senior Design & Estimation Manager with a background in complex EPC construction, to join their tendering department in Milan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing and ensuring competitiveness of submitted tenders
  • Verifying that the technical design of the project matches the contract requirements
  • Optimising designs and making the best use of the supply chain
  • Ensuring the proper application of best practices and the correct use of design and cost estimation tools
  • Assisting the Business Development Director with the presentation of tenders

PROFILE

  • Master’s degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Around 5-10 years’ proven experience in tendering and estimations
  • Ability to translate client requirements during project development
  • Excellent ability to independently carry out the design and cost estimation of a project
  • Previous experience working on large and complex commercial and industrial building projects
  • Fluency in Italian and English is essential
