About Our Client

Our client is a multinational company leader in the BtoB services.

Job Description

  • Develop and guide the Administration, Finance and Control as well as the HR function by execution and monitoring of processes, procedures, and activities;
  • Assume the global Business Unit Controlling responsibility for the assigned Business Unit, including "Business Reviews" for operational and financial performance over Italy, UK and Spain;
  • Be the head of HR for the assigned Country;
  • Deal with the group internal cross-border business relation;
  • Ensure correct administrative and accounting processes, procedures, and activities, also guaranteeing compliance with administrative, fiduciary, accounting, legal and tax obligations;
  • Manage the company's cash flow, P&L and Balance Sheet;
  • Be accountable for the relations with consulting and auditing firms and legal advisor;
  • Cooperate as the closest interlocutor for statutory and statutory tasks with the local site Sole Director;
  • Establish an appropriate team set-up that ensures statutory compliance for the associated task within finance and HR;
  • Build up the finance and HR department when appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent culture;
  • Expertise in IFRS and Italian GAAP and excellent knowledge and management skills of the entire controlling cycle;
  • Successful track record gained as finance manager with at least 7 years of comparable experience in a multinational business environment (preferably in a functional matrix organisation);
  • Good knowledge of AS400 ERP system would be appreciable;
  • Dealing with the Group internal cross-border business relation, some basic understanding of Transfer-Pricing topics is very helpful.
  • Experience in manufacturing business;
  • Transfer-pricing related knowledge and understanding of local statutory HR requirements;
  • Hands-on working capabilities beside the aspiration of managing the current team;
  • Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and capability to implement;
  • Good intercultural skills and cross border collaboration;
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
