AR Accountant

Keywords Studios Italy, part of the global Keywords Group, specializes in international media localization, translation, voice recording, localization testing, and international content creation. Through a robust network of project managers, recording studios, and professional linguists, we deliver world-class services to clients worldwide.

As an AR Accountant, you will join our central, multilingual shared services accounting team based in Milan. This team supports Keywords subsidiaries across various countries. The role requires a flexible approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams, including Sales across multiple regions.

This position is an urgent role.

As an AR Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations by focusing on the following areas:

Global Invoicing

1. Manage customer invoicing processes for multiple international subsidiaries.
2. Ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices in compliance with the local regulations and company policies.

Intercompany Billing

1. Handle rebilling transactions between Keywords subsidiaries to ensure proper intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

Credit Collection

1. Proactively monitor and manage accounts receivable balances.
2. Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment and resolve any disputes or discrepancies.

Month-end Close and Reconciliations

1. Perform AR related tasks during the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Reconcile accounts receivable and related accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

Compliance and Internal Controls

1. Adhere to internal audit standards, including SOX compliance, to maintain financial integrity.
2. Support periodic audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

RequirementsTechnical Skills

1. Diploma in accounting and/or degree in economics.
2. Between 5 to 7 years of proven working experience in a similar role, ideally in a shared service or multinational environment.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel skills and strong IT systems skills.
4. Fluent in English and Italian.
5. Experience with Financial Tools such as Netsuite, Coretime, and Salesforce will be considered an asset.
