Job Overview: The Area Manager Construction (OnsCon) is tasked with the development planning and executing construction of an area of the LNG facility. The role requires multi-disciplinary expertise and the ability to understand the industry to achieve financial and operational objectives. The Senior Manager Construction (OnsCon) manages multiple related teams, sets their organizational priorities, and allocates the appropriate resources. They will be required to manage and coordinate multiple contractors operating within their area of responsibility They must be able to identify and resolve a range of complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. The Senior Manager Construction (OnsCon) directly impacts business results by supporting and function-specific projects, products, services, and/or technologies, and developing policies and plans.

Essential Qualifications and
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent on-the-job experienceMinimum of 15-20 years of experience in industrial construction projects with knowledge of Construction Planning Prior experience on a construction site, involved with work planning activities including a high level of knowledge and experience with the implementation of detailed work planning processes and proceduresKnowledge of AWP as a project management methodology and familiarity with all phases of a project lifecycle Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to convey complex concepts Advanced MS Office skills, specifically with Excel and Access Implementation and Management of MDR procedures and standards Experience in leadership positions and ability to influence others at a professional level Advanced understanding of construction sequencing and construction techniques Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines, troubleshoot, and resolve issues Energetic with a positive and enthusiastic disposition, possessing a can-do attitude Respected for uncompromising integrity, work ethic, and professionalism Understand organizational structures for all roles that coincide with WorkFace PlanningShould clearly understand contract requirements#LI-JA1Key Task and
Responsibilities:
Understanding of full EPC project lifecycle and interfaces essentialKey strategic role as McDermott senior representative in partner office Milan for one year then Senior CM on site. Comfortable in HO environment and capable of stakeholder management of partners within JV whilst ensuring company interests are protectedContribute to development and influence of key strategies and planning such as implementation of Advanced Work Packs processes, sub-contract strategies, site establishment, constructability, Scopes of Work and schedule forecasting.
Monitor partner processes and procedures to ensure compliance and interface compatibility with McDermott company practicesDevelop Sub-contract scopes of work and participate in high value multi-discipline bid reviewsComfortable working closely and communicating with project stakeholders including engineering, supply chain, project management, Quality, EHS and sub-contract managementLead the team to deliver a successful projectResponsible for planning and execution of the construction plan at the job site including all construction activities and changes to the plan as required and to meet schedule and cost goals of the projectResponsible for formulating a competent construction execution plan Responsible for safety, quality, client interface, construction operations, cost, and schedule, which includes the major risk component – labor productivityActively participate in the development of a construction HSSE culture that makes safety and environmental awareness a natural part of the job Provide constructability input during design Develop a construction organizational plan commensurate with the requirements of the Project Documents and sells the Project Execution Plan to Management Visit sites for pending projects and evaluate site conditions and extraordinary requirements Accountable for the functional direction, coordination, and performance of all on-site construction operations and support departments in
