We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of a Reablement Care Worker on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.67 15.49 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • To work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives and targets
  • To comply with data protection legislation and the councils Information Security Policy including supporting policies
  • To be willing and able to work in a flexible and agile way with regard both to hours of work and location of work including remote and home working as required subject to service needs and requirements
  • To participate in performance development talent reviews and onetoones and to contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs and goals
  • To actively promote and comply with the councils diversity and equality policies
  • To ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc. the councils Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CQC requirements.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles.
  • Experience of demonstrating kindness and compassion to vulnerable people.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
