Senior Buyer

Description We are looking for a Senior Buyer based in Milan in order to join our Business Unit Grid Integration, which is specialized in electrical substations, power quality solutions, hvdc connections and eMobility. This person will focus on managing contracts for products and services purchase.Your responsibilities:Perform strategic sourcing work to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing;Establish supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs;Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients;Monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing;Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends and define acceptable service levels.Your background:Degree in engineering or economics;Fluent in Italian and English;>5 years of experience in similar roles inside complex organizations;Good knowledge of SAP is a plus;Proactivity and excellent negotiation skills are required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
