Job Title: Fund Analyst

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detailoriented and analytical Fund Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing monitoring and reporting on the performance of various investment funds. This role offers an opportunity to gain handson experience in fund management enhance analytical skills and contribute to the success of our investment strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the performance of various investment funds including mutual funds hedge funds and private equity funds.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate fund performance and risk metrics.
  • Prepare regular performance reports presentations and investment commentary for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Monitor market trends economic conditions and fundspecific news to provide insights on potential impacts on fund performance.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for potential new fund investments including reviewing fund strategy structure and management.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize asset allocation and ensure alignment with investment objectives.
  • Maintain and update fund databases ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in fund analysis investment research or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling data analysis and valuation techniques.
  • Familiarity with investment research tools and platforms (e.g. Bloomberg Morningstar FactSet).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Progress towards CFA or other relevant professional certifications is a plus.
