Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience within a main contractor or general contractor environment. Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification, such as Engineering, combined with commercial experience. Proven experience in commercial management, quantity surveying and cost control on large-scale construction projects. Experience as a Commercial Lead, Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar senior construction commercial role. Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts. Experience with financial reporting, procurement, budgeting, forecasting and commercial risk management. Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, with SAP experience advantageous. Excellent English language skills. Company description Our client is an established engineering and construction contractor delivering complex, large-scale projects across Europe.
