  • Designing and evolving relational database schemas, ensuring data integrity and consistency through SQL dialects (TSQL or PL/pgSQL).
  • Contributing to the development and integration of services within a microservices architecture both with cloud‑native services (i.e. Databricks) and on‑premise technologies, like Red Hat OpenShift and its supported / certified operators.
  • Collaborating with the team on testing, troubleshooting and releasing containerized applications.

The scope of responsibilities and level of autonomy will reflect your experience and seniority.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years of experience as a software developer

  • Sound knowledge of relational database design, including data modelling, relationships and integrity constraints.
  • Good knowledge of C#, proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python.
  • Understanding of microservices architectures, containerization and orchestration concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes, and their deployment in cloud and on‑premise environments.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous experience in backend development using .NET and ASP.NET Core, particularly at mid or senior level.
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing and analytical query engines, such as Apache Spark, Trino and DuckDB
  • Knowledge of SQL-based data transformation and modelling tools, such as SQLMesh or dbt, and SQL parsing and transpilation libraries such as SQLGlot.
  • Understanding of lakehouse architectures, including table formats such as Apache Iceberg and catalog management solutions such as Apache Polaris.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and managing containerized microservices with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, including Helm and Kubernetes/OpenShift Operators.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration technologies, such as Apache Airflow, Argo Workflows, Temporal or equivalent solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data management, data processing and orchestration services on at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure, including solutions such as Databricks Workflows or Azure Data Factory

For junior candidates, relevant academic projects, personal projects and internships will also be considered.

  • Passion for working in technologically rich and challenging environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical topics clearly.
  • Attention to software quality and maintainability.
  • Willingness to learn and progressively take ownership of development activities.
