This position provides services at the TCRHCC main campus and satellite clinics. Pharmacist is responsible for providing a comprehensive pharmacy and medication management service to patients and ensures a consistent level of service in accordance to TCRHCC policies. Direct patient care and services are provided to neonatal pediatric adolescent adult geriatric oncology and obstetric patients. This position requires working rotational shifts: day evening nights weekends and Holidays. The position provides the opportunity for career advancement through tier levels of Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist as determined by pharmacy experience. Advanced Practice Pharmacist serves as a clinical pharmacist for direct clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments. In addition to the responsibilities of Advanced Practice Pharmacist I Advanced Practice Pharmacist II is responsible for all specialized pharmacy based clinics and providing an ongoing analysis of clinical services to develop programs that commensurate with the highest quality of care. Responsibilities also include the administration of policies and procedures and directing programs and activities in accordance to TCRHCC s mission vision and values. Incumbent serves as the Clinic Manager of Operations at the designated clinic(s) and provides technical and administrative supervision to professional and nonprofessional employees i.e. Advanced Practice I Staff Pharmacists Pharmacy Technicians Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Billers. Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation a JCAHO accredited health center provides services to a 4400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73. Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services dental and ophthalmology services orthopedics OB/GYN oral surgery eye surgery and urological procedures. Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is located in Northwestern Arizona on the land known as the Colorado Plateau. This semidesert landscape varies in elevation from 4400 in the Little Colorado River Valley to nearly 7000 feet at Preston Mesa. The nursing staff includes registered nurses licensed practical nurses nursing assistants community health nurses nurse practitioners nurse midwives CRNA and community health medics.** Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start. ** REQUIRED: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education. Must have a current valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a State or Territory of the United States or the District of Columbia and have a current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Registered Pharmacist; A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
