Momentive Performance Materials, a global leader in fine chemicals, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in an international environment.
In this role, you'll be an architect of efficiency, analyzing and improving processes to boost productivity, reduce costs, and minimize environmental, health, and safety risks. You'll also champion quality by implementing strategies to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards. As a leader, you'll spearhead improvement projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. If you have experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing setting, then we should get to know each other But even if you have not yet had (all) these experiences, but are interested and motivated in these topics, we look forward to receiving your application as well
Responsibilities Include:
- Optimizes Manufacturing processes to:
- Improve Usages,
- Minimize Wastes,
- Increase capacity and production rates,
- Reduce Batch Times,
- Increase productivity,
- Improve Process Stability,
- Reduce Energy Consumption,
- Improve product quality.
The following are required for the role:
- Master's degree in chemical engineering.
- First work experience including apprenticeships, etc.
- Teamwork and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- English and Italian language skills.
The following are preferred for the role:
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean/ Continuous Improvement tools will be highly considered.
- Knowledge and experience with problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in high-risk industries (Seveso).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to cope with setbacks/demonstrate agility.
