Job Title: Cloud ArchitectSalary: Up to 60.000 + benefits including company carLocation: EuropeJob type: PermanentA consultancy client of mine is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team. If you are passionate about shaping cloud strategy, driving best practices, and building architectures that make a real impact, this role offers the perfect platform to advance your career.Key Responsibilities – Cloud ArchitectDesign, implement, and optimise scalable, secure cloud architectures across GCP, Azure, or AWS.Lead cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, and execution of workloads to the cloud.Develop high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies aligned with business continuity requirements.Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards are met across all cloud environments.Collaborate with engineering, development, and security teams to define cloud best practices and architectural standards.Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and design proposals for stakeholders.Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services, tooling, and automation solutions to improve performance and cost efficiency.Oversee infrastructure-as-code deployments using tools such as Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.Provide technical leadership and guidance during project delivery and cloud adoption initiatives.Conduct performance tuning, cost optimisation, and resource utilisation reviews.Manage integrations between cloud services and on-premises systems (hybrid architectures).Key Skills & Qualifications – Cloud ArchitectCloud certification in at least one major provider:AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), orMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, orGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.Expertise in security best practices, IAM design, encryption, key management, and zero-trust principles.Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and automation frameworks.Solid understanding of containers and orchestration, especially Docker and Kubernetes.Ability to design systems with scalability, resilience, and cost optimisation in mind.Strong hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite, Prometheus, etc.).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in complex, multi-cloud or hybrid environments.Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Experience writing clear technical documentation and architectural design artefacts.If this sounds like an exciting opportunity please apply with your CV.
