We are currently looking for a passionate Head Chef to join and lead the Kitchen team at a brand-new Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova. As the Head Chef, you will be fully responsible for providing a delightful culinary experience and enhancing the hotel's reputation by consistently delivering high-quality food. Additionally, you will oversee the operational management of the kitchen and team members, taking care of their professional development and job satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of culinary operations, ensuring high-quality and satisfying dining experiences that drive F&B revenues and contribute to healthy occupancy rates.
- Implement financial plans and optimize food cost while maintaining excellent standards.
- Lead, train, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment while managing payroll and personnel costs efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to promote the hotel's food and beverage offerings and drive operating profit in the Food & Beverage department.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP), ensuring successful HACCP audits.
- Uphold Hampton by Hilton brand standards and deliver outstanding guest service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Passion for delivering quality food and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
