The position involves close collaboration with electrical motor designers, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to deliver high-performance, industry-leading products.Key Responsibilities:Mechanical Design & DevelopmentDesign mechanical components and subsystems for electric motors, from concept to productionCreate 3D models, technical drawings, and mechanical specifications for housings, shafts, bearings, end-caps, cooling structures, and interfacesPerform structural, thermal, and vibration simulations (FEA) to ensure performance, reliability, and complianceEnsure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specificationsMaterials & Manufacturing EngineeringSelect appropriate materials and surface treatments to balance durability, thermal performance, and costCollaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for machining, casting, molding, and assemblySupport supplier evaluations and contribute to DFM and DFMEA activitiesCollaboration & CommunicationWork closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, procurement, quality) to align on mechanical requirements, risks, and dependenciesCommunicate complex mechanical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProvide mechanical engineering input during customer discussions when requiredDocumentation & Knowledge SharingPrepare and maintain clear, structured mechanical documentation and design recordsSupport training and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen mechanical engineering capabilities across the organizationRequired Qualifications:EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related fieldExperienceProven experience in mechanical design of rotating machinery, electric motors, pumps, or similar systemsStrong background in mechanical simulations (structural, thermal, vibration)Technical SkillsProficiency in CAD tools (e.G.
