Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to oversee the purchasing of goods and services, manage vendor contracts, and ensure a seamless supply chain process. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing procurement activities from purchase order preparation and contract negotiation to tracking deliveries and evaluating vendor performance. You will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring that quality, compliance, and customer delivery commitments are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Purchasing: Manage the procurement cycle for assigned product categories, issuing purchase orders, negotiating commercial terms, and tracking deliveries to guarantee on-time fulfillment.
  • Contract Management & Negotiation: Partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to negotiate, draft, and finalize contract terms and conditions, securing optimal commercial conditions.
  • Compliance & Governance: Coordinate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all vendor agreements adhere strictly to internal company policies, industry standards, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Supplier Performance & Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, professional relationships with key suppliers. Continuously evaluate vendor performance, quality standards, and delivery reliability using structured metrics.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate, maintain, and analyze operational procurement reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and supply risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the main procurement point of contact for internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Logistics, Quality) to align purchasing activities with business requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree for candidates with a proven track record in procurement.
  • Proven hands‑on experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract management.
  • Fluency in English and Italian in writing and speaking.
  • Technical & Business Acumen: Solid understanding of core business processes, supply chain operations, and contract law basics.
  • Negotiation & Analytics: Proven track record in supplier negotiation and strong data analysis skills to support decision‑making.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams and external vendors.
  • Organization & Detail: Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with sharp attention to detail in high‑volume environments. Work Style: Comfortable working both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team environment.
Desirable Qualifications (Optional)
  • Familiarity with ERP SAP systems.
  • Professional procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).

La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: Between € 28,500.00 and € 42,800.00 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.
