Post-Doc Researcher on Molecular Targets: The Institute for Biomedicine, part of Eurac Research, located at Bolzano’s NOI Techpark, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on molecular targets for Parkinson’s disease. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Molecular Neurodegeneration, focusing on understanding cellular phenotypes related to Parkinson’s disease and the autophagy-lysosome pathway’s role in modulating them.Designation: Postdoctoral ResearcherPhD in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.Operating knowledge of cell culture and sterile techniques.Experience in molecular and cell biology assays.Previous experience with microscopy and/or electrophysiology is advantageous.Expertise in the assessment of the neurobiology of the synapse is also advantageous.Excellent written and spoken English.Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for:Cell line and iPSC culture and differentiation in neurons and brain organoids.Molecular and cell biology experiments (ddPCR, Western blot, functional assays, confocal microscopy).Support in calcium imaging experiments.Support in electrophysiology and multi-electrode array experiments.Data analyses and statistics.Preparation of graphs, presentations, and manuscripts.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their application, including a CV, cover letter, and relevant documents, by 18.04.2024 to Mattia Volta via email at mattia.volta@eurac.edu.#J-18808-Ljbffr
