La tua nuova aziendaFor a long-established Italian industrial company, part of a leading multinational group and recognized among the key international players in its sector, we are looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. The candidate will join the Finance Department and play a key role in supporting the consolidation and continuous improvement of the company’s administrative, accounting, and tax processes.
Il tuo nuovo ruoloReporting directly to the Finance Director and managing a team of 5 people, the Tax & Accounting Manager is responsible for the accurate management of accounting, tax, administrative, and reporting activities across the entities within the scope (Italy, France, and Spain).
The role is accountable for monthly financial closings, compliance with tax and statutory requirements, preparation of Group reporting, management of audit and compliance processes, oversight of accounts receivable and credit management, monitoring of Working Capital performance, and the continuous improvement of Finance processes, contributing to the organization's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial ReportingEnsure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in compliance with Group reporting deadlines.
Ensure the preparation of statutory financial statements for the entities within the scope in accordance with Italian regulations.
Manage the monthly reporting package submitted to the Group under US GAAP.
Oversee the proper management of differences between ITA GAAP and US GAAP, ensuring accurate accounting adjustments and consistency between local statutory accounts and Group reporting.
Independently prepare the Group’s consolidated statutory financial statements and coordinate all activities required for their completion.
Coordinate relationships with external and internal auditors, as well as other specialist advisors involved in accounting and financial reporting activities.
Tax Management & ComplianceManage all direct and indirect tax compliance requirements for the entities within the scope.
Coordinate relationships with statutory accountants and external tax advisors on all tax-related matters.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and Group policies.
Support tax audits, inspections, and requests from regulatory authorities.
Coordinate and prepare Transfer Pricing documentation for the entities within the scope, interfacing with external advisors and relevant business functions.
Ensure compliance with national and international Transfer Pricing regulations.
Internal Controls, Audit & ComplianceEnsure compliance with Group internal control requirements and compliance procedures.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Ensure implementation and monitoring of corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
Collaborate with the Finance Director to maintain SOX standards and financial governance requirements.
Credit Management, Working Capital & Cash ManagementProactively manage the Credit Management process by monitoring exposure, aging, credit limits, and insolvency risks, while coordinating team members involved in credit management activities.
Coordinate collection activities and define, together with the Commercial Leadership Team, strategies for managing critical customer positions.
Support initiatives aimed at reducing Working Capital and optimizing cash flow.
Business Support & Financial AnalysisProvide financial data and analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Partner with management in the development of profitability improvement initiatives.
Support productivity, cost optimization, and savings programs.
Ensure the quality and reliability of financial information shared with management.
Support the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Term Planning processes for the foreign legal entities.
Di cosa hai bisogno per aver successoBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.7 to 10 years of experience in Tax, Accounting, and Finance roles within multinational industrial organizations.
Proven experience in preparing stand-alone and consolidated statutory financial statements and multinational reporting packages.
Experience managing multi-GAAP accounting environments (ITA GAAP and US GAAP or IFRS).
Experience preparing and managing Transfer Pricing documentation.
Experience managing incentive finance projects and government funding programs (R&D Tax Credits, Patent Box, Industry 4.0 incentives, etc.).
Experience leading accounting and administrative teams.
Fluent English proficiency.
Technical
Skills:
Advanced Excel and ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards or equivalent platforms), Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
Soft
