MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Within the Indirect Purchasing team, the role is responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned procurement categories, driving both strategic sourcing initiatives and operational purchasing activities.


Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Manage procurement activities for Facility Management and Auxiliary Services categories (cleaning, security, canteen, vending, waste management, landscaping, maintenance, and general services).
  • Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies aligned with business needs, ensuring cost optimization, service excellence, and compliance.
  • Lead RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations to achieve the best balance of quality, service, cost, timing, and risk.

Business Partnership & Coordination

  • Collaborate with Facility Management, Real Estate, EHS, HR, Finance, Operations, Security, and Plant Management teams to understand requirements and support business priorities.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure alignment with budgets, project timelines, and operational needs.
  • Act as the key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring service continuity and issue resolution.

Cost Management & Performance Improvement

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend management activities for the assigned categories.
  • Identify savings opportunities through spend analysis, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to achieving annual savings and cost avoidance targets.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance through KPIs and SLAs.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and reviews to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks.
  • Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts and framework agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, sustainability standards, and HSE regulations.

Reporting & Procurement Excellence

  • Prepare procurement reports, savings tracking, spend analyses, and supplier performance dashboards.
  • Support procurement transformation, digitalization, and process standardization initiatives.
  • Promote best practices in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and category management.


REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in Indirect Procurement.
  • Experience in managing service contracts and supplier negotiations within industrial or multinational environments is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Good understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performance measurement, and supplier governance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and international environment.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.

  • Grade: 2° Gruppo Professionale
  • Salary range: Euro 36.000 – 43.000
