Location:Leeds

Rate of pay 18.0019.00 per hour

motive8 North is a leading Personal Training company in Leeds. We have two personal training studios in Leeds City Centre and are recruiting an enthusiastic passionate Personal Trainer to join the team. We are big believers in going the extra mile for our clients and are looking to recruit a Personal Trainer with high professional standards and customer service someone who is proud of what they and their client achieve.

You will be responsible for delivering 1:1 and small group training class gym inductions at corporate and residential facilities corporate wellbeing sessions and group fitness classes. You should be eager to build a client base and have a track record of good client retention. Some experience of using social media to create your online presence and brand awareness would be preferred but not essential.

You should be confident and competent in delivering consultations with new clients health assessment and functional movement screens and be able to provide resultsdriven exercise programmes and personal training sessions for a wide variety of clients. You should be able to support your clients training needs with sound nutritional advice.

Experience Skills & Knowledge

Personal Training

Experience in delivering 1:1 and small group personal training sessions to a wide variety and a proven track record of achieving client results

Excellent skills in designing and delivering exercise programmes based on a variety of client goals and medical/exercise history

Experience in providing nutritional advice and support

Provision of lifestyle support

Experience in delivering health assessments to monitor client progress

Experience of working with different populations

Ability to adapt their approach based on clients goals needs and injuries

An understanding of obstacles and barriers which clients face in achieving their goals and how these can be overcome.

A sound understanding of anatomy physiology & biomechanics and how these can be transferred to a practical setting

You should be willing to build a client base (this is not a selfemployed position therefore we will work closely with you to build up your client base)

Classes

Experience in delivery of group fitness classes such as outdoor boot camps circuit training HIIT boxing classes.

Ability to motivate class participants

Ability to engage with class participants and enhance class retention

Residential Gym Inductions

Experience of performing of gym inductions to a high standard explaining how to use all of the equipment safely and effectively

Corporate Wellbeing Services

Confidence to deliver engaging educational seminars and workshops which focus on improving health & wellbeing in the workplace

Confidence to deliver workplace classes

Effective communication skills

Excellent presentation skills

Other

Experience of using social media in a professional environment would be welcome but not essential

Experience of writing health and fitness blogs would be preferred but not essential.

Experience of selling personal training and other products

You should be a role model to your clients and a source of motivation and inspiration

You should have a cando attitude and be able to create a rapport with all motive8 clients and colleagues

Effective communication skills

Engaging personality be able to engage with a wide variety of clients

Be willing to work early mornings evenings and Saturdays (if required).

Qualifications

At motive8 we love to learn therefore we are looking for Personal Trainers with a passion for continued learning and development.

You should hold the following qualifications:

Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification

A sports/exercise related degree is preferred but not essential

Certificates in circuit training and boxingstyle fitness classes are desirable but not essential.

A first aid qualification is desirable but not essential

Additional CPD courses workshops seminars.

Working with motive8

You will be mainly based at our two studios in Leeds City Centre in addition to delivering sessions at our corporate clients. This position is an employed position on a paid per session basis therefore we will work closely with you to build up your client base.

We provide a workplace pension holiday pay staff benefits including medical care* company mobile phone* and a training allowance*.

As this is an employed position you do not need your own public liability insurance this is provided by motive8.

* These benefits are in place after a six month probationary period.
