We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Rome gallery and drive its commercial growth across the Italian and international art markets. The successful candidate will oversee the gallery’s strategic and commercial direction, working in close collaboration with our London team to align exhibitions, art fairs and client development. Applicants must demonstrate extensive experience in both the primary and secondary markets, established relationships with collectors, curators and institutions, and a proven track record of generating sales and building long-term partnerships within Italy, and globally. Only those who are eligible to work in Italy can be considered. Salary: €50,000 – €80,000 per annum + sales commissions. Key responsibilities: Lead the commercial growth of the Rome gallery and develop strategies to expand the collector base. Leverage existing networks to identify new opportunities, both within Italy and globally. Ensure an exceptional standard of client service and gallery presentation. Contribute to the gallery’s wider international strategy, working closely with the Founder and directors. Key requirements: Excellent professional English. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a comparable international gallery. Strong working knowledge of the Italian art market. Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information. Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent Location: Italy
