We are currently seeking a Human Resource Officer to focus on performance management, develop an effective reward system, and oversee its implementation.
Position Overview:
The Human Resource Officer will play a pivotal role in driving staff engagement and performance excellence. By concentrating on performance management and the creation of a motivating reward system, this position will contribute directly to a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive performance management framework aligned with organisational goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure consistency and fairness across all departments.
- Provide training and support to managers on effective performance appraisal techniques and feedback delivery.
- Identify areas for employee development and recommend training programs to bridge skill gaps.
- Collaborate with leadership to set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for staff.
- Research and develop a competitive and equitable reward system, including monetary and non-monetary incentives, aligned with industry standards.
- Design programs for employee recognition, including "Employee of the Month," long-service awards, and team-based rewards.
- Work with finance and management to ensure the reward system is cost-effective and sustainable.
- Communicate the reward system to all staff, ensuring transparency and accessibility.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the reward programs and suggest enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with the company’s mission and values.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns related to performance and rewards.
- Maintain accurate records of employee performance and rewards in HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies in all performance and reward initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on performance management and employee rewards.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compensation frameworks.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to design and implement systems and processes effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
