As a Transport Dispatcher you will spend the majority of time on building contractual relationships as well as negotiating spot market commitments with carriers. You will be responsible for calling carriers based on interest generated from our customers. Providing day to day status updates, identifying issues, seeking input from others to help determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions. Applying trucks to loads in contractual as well as transactional commitment.

On Your Next Adventure, You’ll:

  • Develop supply chain solutions in order to effectively support our customer go-to-market strategy

  • Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically, seeking input to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions

  • Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts identifying opportunities for additional collaboration

  • Research new carriers in the marketplace, generate leads, and build new carrier relationships

  • Conduct calls with carriers to determine carrier availability, commitment, and negotiate transportation rates

  • Ensure that specific customer load requirements are met on committed and/or ad-hoc shipments

  • Identifies backup carriers for critical situations

  • Study and understand market trends and seasonality

  • Makes truck offers to Capacity teams in own and other branches in the network.

  • Managing own personal development plan

Come Addetto alla logistica, dedicherai la maggior parte del tuo tempo a costruire relazioni contrattuali e a negoziare impegni di mercato spot con i vettori. Sarai responsabile di contattare i vettori in base all’interesse generato dai nostri clienti. Fornirai aggiornamenti giornalieri sullo stato, identificherai eventuali problemi, cercherai il contributo degli altri per determinare la migliore azione da intraprendere e attuerai soluzioni. Applicherai i camion ai carichi sia in base agli impegni contrattuali che transazionali.

Nella tua prossima avventura:

  • Svilupperai soluzioni per la catena di approvvigionamento al fine di supportare efficacemente la strategia di mercato dei nostri clienti.

  • Risolverai problemi, identificando eventuali criticità, valutando le diverse opzioni e mettendo in atto soluzioni.

  • Mantieni e sviluppa relazioni con gli account dei vettori, individuando opportunità di collaborazione aggiuntive.

  • Ricerca nuovi vettori nel mercato, generando potenziali contatti e costruendo nuove relazioni con i vettori.

  • Conduci chiamate con i vettori per verificare la loro disponibilità, gli impegni e negoziare le tariffe di trasporto.

  • Garantisci che i requisiti specifici dei carichi dei clienti siano soddisfatti per le spedizioni impegnate o ad hoc.

  • Identifica vettori di riserva per situazioni critiche.

  • Studia e comprendi le tendenze di mercato e la stagionalità.

  • Presenta offerte di camion alle squadre di capacità nella tua filiale e in altre sedi della rete.

  • Gestisci il tuo piano di sviluppo personale.
