We invest a portion of premiums in environmentally and socially beneficial projects and cover a wide range of business risks to help clients identify and minimise exposure.Senior Underwriter – Professional IndemnityYour new roleUnderwrite business following the business plan and regulatory requirements.Support the development and delivery of the annual business plan.Apply a reinsurance strategy to safeguard the portfolio.Contribute to meetings to share knowledge and best practices.Promote the department, division and company to maximise brand leverage.Establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.Continually develop technical knowledge and expertise.Ensure accurate recording of insurance risks and compliance with regulations.About youProfessional Indemnity underwriting experienceDeep knowledge of the local market in the Professional Indemnity segmentStrong organizational, analytical and prioritization skillsStrong interpersonal, negotiating and communication skillsAbility to analyse data and use it for decision-makingStrong attention to detailBusiness fluent in written and spoken EnglishWhy QBE At My BestAt QBE we want our people to feel rewarded and inspired to perform at their best.
