Job title: IT Supervisor Reports directly to: Director of OperationOverall Job Purpose The IT Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the IT department's staff, systems, and projects. This role ensures the reliable operation of all technology infrastructure, provides effective technical support to the organization, and helps implement IT strategies aligned with overall business objectives.Qualifications & SkillsStrong technical proficiencyacross various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), network topologies, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).Excellentleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills .Proven ability tomanage projectsand balance multiple priorities under pressure.Familiarity withITILor other IT service management frameworks is a strong asset.Relevantcertifications(e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are preferred.Candidate profile Education and Experience3+ years of experiencein IT support or systems administration.Principal AccountabilitiesSuperviseand mentor a team of IT specialists, technicians, and/or analysts.Conductperformance reviews , training, and professional development for team members.Schedulework assignments and manage on-call rotations to ensure continuous support coverage.Assistin the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades, hardware refreshes, and new software implementation.Developand maintain IT operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.Contributeto the development of the IT department's budget and track expenditures.Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshootingof all IT infrastructure, including servers, network hardware.Manage the service/help deskfunction, serving as a primary escalation point for complex or critical technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.Plan and coordinate system upgrades , maintenance windows, and disaster recovery testing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
