Flender Italy is looking for a Sales Area Manager who, reporting to the Sales Director, will be responsible for developing, promoting and selling solutions from Flender's product portfolio (industrial gearboxes and couplings) in order to ensure the achievement of sales targets at customers based in Italy, in the Triveneto region. The candidate will have to operate in the field of technical-commercial promotion with customers in the assigned territory, interfacing with the main machine manufacturers (OEMs), end customers and distributors, personally dealing with activities relating to the sizing of industrial gearboxes and couplings, as well as system configuration with electric motors. What will my responsibilities be? Promote Flender products to customers in the assigned area and define the best technical and commercial proposal. Follow up specific customers assigned outside the area, on the Italian territory. Carry out the sizing of industrial gearboxes and couplings and prepare technical-commercial offers based on the specifications provided by the customer. Identification and develop growth opportunities and potentials with customers and prospects (Machine OEMs, Distributors, End Users) in the assigned area, with active and daily presence on the territory. Manage relations with assigned customers, become an important point of reference in solving both pre-sales and post-sales technical and commercial issues. Ensure continuous feedback to all stakeholders involved in business activities and a follow-up of the activities undertaken. Interface with other business functions in Italy and Germany, such as Product Management, Logistics and Customer Service, in order to ensure the best support to customers. Report and be accountable for promotion and sales actions to the Sales Director of Flender Italy, respecting the planning of assigned activities and objectives. Actively participate in events, workshops and trade fairs. Interface with the German parent company, in order to develop the best technical and commercial solution for the customer. What are the requirements for this job? Proven experience in the promotion and sales of industrial gearboxes. Residence within the Triveneto area is preferable. Strong customer orientation and ability to propose the best technical and commercial solutions, propensity for teamwork both with internal contacts - sales, departmental colleagues and the German Head Office - and with external customers. Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills. Strong goal orientation, spirit of initiative and autonomy. Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent technical diploma. Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and willingness to undertake international assignments. Flexibility and openness to innovation and change. Fluent knowledge of Italian and English, written and spoken. What can we offer you?
