Project Construction and Commissioning Manager (F/M/D) HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and coordinate Construction and Commissioning processes and activities related to project scope. You will be in office supporting the accomplishment of the site execution and the management of the site which is performed by the site manager. Our leaders are the engine for bringing the inclusion and diversity of thought to life and we need you who want to be a part of our journey How you’ll make an impact The responsibility of the PCCM is to manage and drive Construction and Commissioning processes and activities related to project scope of the HVDC station. Plan, monitor and report the overall construction execution progress, cost and man loading forecast on regular basis. Coordinate and lead handover process from Tenderingreviewing Construction and Commissioning scope, schedule and budget, including risk and opportunities. Organize and conduct Kick Off meeting for the C&C Team. Develop and plan temporary and permanent infrastructure together with the Site Manager. Reporting progress and actual information to the ProjectDirector and to the C&C management department, in conjunction with the Site Manager. Coordinate and execute subcontracts with Subcontracts Development and Delivery Manager. Your background Bachelor of Science in Civil-, Mechanical-, or Electrical-Engineering. 5 years of PM experience in HVDC projects or similar e.G. Power Generation EPC, Oil & Gas or Automation Industry. Good Intercultural Skills Ability to communicate fluently in English, spoken and written alike Your experience has provided you with strong leadership, self-competence, and interpersonal skills.
