Shopbop is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support the Buying team. The role primarily involves partnering with receiving teams and vendors to ensure optimal results, while identifying and implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Set up new vendors Enter, manage, and organize all purchase orders Process reorders, SIM issues, receiving issues, and RTVs Generate multiple reports for the buying team Maintain vendor relationships and terms by responding quickly and accurately to both internal and external inquiries Research problems and recommend process improvements in a timely manner Assist in other miscellaneous processes and procedures Basic Qualifications 2+ years of relevant work experience Experience with Excel Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications General interest in the business of fashion Strong internal customer focus and attention to detail Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Experience using generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $35,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $75,600/year in our highest geographic market.
