As MRTW Retail Merchandising Manager you will monitor MRTW-category performance and market trends to drive sales. You’ll translate HQ messages into regional actions, optimize stock and open-to-buy, and collaborate across planning, merchandising, and regional teams. You shape product allocation and in-store execution to maximize opportunities in a fast-paced luxury environment. This role offers impact through data-driven decisions and cross-functional leadership, aligning with Gucci’s mission of Italian craftsmanship and innovation.

- Market intelligence: consolidate trends, competitor offers, and product needs across regions; visit markets to stay ahead of opportunities
- Buying activities: analyze data to define Master Orders and align with seasonal messaging
- Collaboration with planning: define open-to-buy and regional splits
- Inventory optimization: manage stock levels, analyze trends, and address slow movers
- Sales activities: gather market feedback from regional buyers and inform Visual Merchandising and merchandise relocation
- Demand planning support: assist in managing orders for continuous items
- Team leadership: serve as a knowledge reference for regional teams and translate HQ messages effectively
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role in luxury/fashion
- Strong product sensitivity and passion for MRTW categories
- Experience in large volume distribution
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Sound analytical and numerical capabilities
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of current market and consumer trends
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
