And that’s where you come in.<br>Job Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated EMC, NOISE&VIBRATION TEST ENGINEER who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in NAPLES - IT<br>Accountabilities Conducting laboratory tests using established procedures and specialized equipment and software.<br>Accurately recording experimental data, analyzing results, and interpreting findings.<br>Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.<br>Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.<br>Writing technical reports and presenting findings.<br>Development of test documentation.<br>Development of calculation and simulation models of EM fields in railway vehicles.<br>Development of railway research activities.<br>Required Skills/Knowledge Previous experience in Noise&Vibration or EMC Testing<br>Good knowledge about Noise&Vibration and/or EMC issues<br>Good knowledge of Noise&Vibration or EMC calculations techniques<br>Good knowledge of signal processing techniques<br>Knowledge of software and methods for Noise&Vibration and/or EMC calculation<br>Good knowledge of laboratory equipment<br>Good knowledge of laboratory quality standards<br>Good knowledge of measurement techniques/methods and data management<br>Good knowledge of the Office environment<br>Fundamentals of electronic circuits<br>Ability to read, understand and interpret the test results<br>Ability to develop software routines for data processing<br>Ability to read, understand and interpret drawing, schematics and cable plans<br>Basic working knowledge of Railway sector<br>Basic understanding of software configuration management<br>Must be \"team oriented\" with excellent communication skills.<br>Manage and lead assigned resources and suppliers in order to perform the tests and troubleshooting activities.<br>Validation and Verification Processes.<br>Education/Qualifications Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.<br>Languages Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).<br>Additional Information Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
