Offer Description
The research activities will be focused on the synthesis of π-conjugated organic systems through both conventional and automated synthetic approaches. The work will involve the design, synthesis, and characterization of donor and acceptor π-conjugated organic semiconductors, including narrow-bandgap non-fullerene acceptors (NFAs), for next-generation organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices. Two-dimensional materials, such as Covalent Triazine Frameworks (CTFs), will also be investigated for catalytic and photocatalytic applications. xysqume The successful candidate will contribute to the development and validation of experimental procedures aimed at comparing traditional and automated synthetic protocols using the FLEX ISYNTH platform, evaluating its performance in terms of reagent dispensing automation, parallel reaction execution, product yield and purity, and intra- and inter-batch reproducibility.
